The
Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust is pleased to announce its' new partnership with the
Naga Foundation; a Dutch non-profit organization with the goal of
re-
greening degraded lands on a large scale using
rainwater harvesting techniques and
conservation methods to then later have an effect on local
climate conditions. Together with the Naga Foundation, MWCT will be working collaboratively on a 15 acre grass seed bank project in the community of Moilo on Kuku Group Ranch!

The project will not only seek to commence further large scale land restoration that is crucially needed in this
heavily degraded area of the Tsavo-Amboseli ecosystem, but will act to demonstrate to the local community that the benefits of restoring land and grasses can provide
sustained benefits for
communities and their
livestock.

This grass seed bank project will provide sustainable ecological and social benefits to the community of Moilo in the form of rangeland improvement contributing to the
health of their
livestock, and continued community
engagement in the project in the form of
empowerment of
women and
employment.

To commence this exciting project, a series of meetings were hosted with the community of Moilo and its' leadership together with the staff of MWCT. The project was
happily accepted by all community leaders and members!

MWCT was happy to host a Naga Foundation team representative to visit the project site area, interact with the community and Group Ranch leadership, and officially initiative the movements forward with the project!

Am a member of Kuku Group Ranch,and am so tired of this.Am planning a major reshuffle of our people's minds and change their minds never to accept this project.You said to restore lands and empower women.How can you restore lands and you fencing it away from the community reach? MWCT are fooling our illiterate group ranch leaders and they are forced to put on paper something they don't know.Please we are following this project closely and this time round it's tough.I assure you it's not a walk in the park.We are watching as youth and I promise you'll not walk away with this.As youth you can't do anything without our concern as learned and radicalized group in the ground.Do not be cheated by the wrong leadership in the ranch who are of self interest and the MWCT organization who are robbing our resources and no benefits to our people.As youth we say comrades power! These are not threatens,plans are underway and soon you will a difference and turning the project upside down to reveal the whole truth.Be watchful once again,Kuku is no more a place to invest and run away waiting eagerly to get profits selfishly and leaving the natives/local in poverty.Am saying this again,'The project must come to light'.Am just around,at Iltilal so for more and clarification as well reach me.I have a blog,all these information am unwrapping and in social media the project is trending.Why?
